As a follow-up to the December 2017 Njinikom activities of Charity and Education Fund, fifty vulnerable kids below 15 years old shall, between March 20 to 30 2018, be checked for eye refractive errors, which are a major cause of poor school performance among many pupils and students in the Njinikom area of Boyo Division, North West Region of Cameroon.

This event, to be carried out in collaboration with Dr. Beyiah Kamsang Pius of the Mbingo Baptist Hospital in Belo Sub Division, Boyo Division; Mr. MacDonald Yengong of Project Hope in the St. Martin de Porres Catholic General Hospital in Njinikom, shall take place at the Mbingo Hospital, and kids with refractions shall be offered free frames by Dr. Beyiah Kamsang Pius, while Charity and Education Fund shall have to procure the glasses for the frames. This was the outcome of a meeting with our collaborators in Njinikom on Saturday, 20 January 2018. After this event, more numbers shall be involved, and more eye and ear diseases checked; and, good enough, this should be done in the community where these kids are found in Njinikom. Thus, a mobile team of experts shall be put in place to handle this community eye and ear health care. We thank everybody who has opted to lend these less-privileged of our communities a saving hand. Together we can do more!!!
